    Status of Women in Singapore - Meeting with SCWO
    Do you know that over 66% of women earn $2000-2999 or less, and 64% of men earn $2000-2999 or more?

    Does it matter that less than 25% of Parliament and fewer than 15% of CEOs of statutory bodies are women? That only 20% of employers are women? That countries like Malaysia and Australia have a Women's Ministry or a Women's Development Unit while Singapore has a Women's Desk with two staff members under the Family Development Unit of the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports?

    Do you know that your boss can fire you up to your 6th month of pregnancy without compensation?

    Do you know that husbands cannot be charged with rape except within a limited set of circumstances.
